Travel is involved for most patients at Synergy Health. We understand the additional burden that a chronic condition can place on an individual and their family when traveling. To reduce stress on the patient and facilitate the transportation process Synergy Health relies on the exceptional service provided by International Health Care Providers (IHP).
IHP is available to help you coordinate all your travel and accommodation needs. Please note that in order to ensure patient safety, all patients must have an adult companion with them for 24hrs after procedure. Arrangements for companion services are available for all Synergy patients through IHP.

Flights
Travel itineraries are designed to accommodate the personal needs of each traveler. Whenever possible, IHP prefers to book flights through WestJet. IHP’s longstanding relationship with WestJet often results in preferred rates and availability. Wheelchair and special needs provisions are made at the time of booking should you require extra assistance.
Accommodations
IHP has secured a preferred rate for Synergy patients at the Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach. Patients will enjoy the following accommodations:
- ADA rooms and suites available with roll-in showers
- Complimentary internet
- Complimentary parking
- Complimentary ground transportation to and from Synergy Health
Ground Transportation
Complimentary ground transportation to and from John Wayne airport (SNA) is provided for guests of the Newport Beach Fairmont. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are also available when necessary.
Special Needs Arrangements
Rentals such as hover lifts, wheelchairs, etc. can be arranged through IHC on behalf of Synergy patients.
Travel Insurance
Some patients may qualify for Accidental & Complications Insurance. Assistance in applying for this coverage is provided by IHP.
